Once the Green Bay Packers traded superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets ahead of the 2023 NFL season, the storied franchise made a statement as they were content moving forward with the unproven Jordan Love under center for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately for Love, there wasn’t a lot of optimism around the league or in Green Bay that he could fill Rodgers’ shoes the way the four-time NFL MVP did taking over for Brett Favre when he headed to the Jets.
Despite Green Bay’s lack of optimism about Love’s immediate future as the starting quarterback, the Packers were pleasantly surprised to see what the young quarterback was able to accomplish once he got his opportunity to shine as the new face of the franchise.
Although the first half of the 2023 campaign was forgettable for the Packers, Love was able to turn things around for Green Bay in the second half of the regular season, resulting in clinching a playoff spot and pulling off an incredible upset over the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the postseason.
With Love earning the respect and trust of the Packers fan base, he has a bright future with the team moving forward, and now he’s decided to make another life-altering move by proposing to his girlfriend, according to Matt Schneidman of 97.3 The Game.

It seems as though everything is coming together for Love as he embarks on a promising career in the NFL with one of the league’s most prominent franchises, bringing his fiancee along for the ride.
Along with getting engagement and becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Love will soon be in for a big payday and will likely become one of the highest-paid players at his position.
