Heading into the 2023 NFL season, Jordan Love finally got his opportunity to be the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, with the team trading superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.

Although Love finally got his opportunity to shine as the starter for the storied NFL franchise, not many expected him to succeed right out of the gate, as not many were singing his praises with a lot of uncertainty about whether he could fill Rodgers’ shoes in the same way he once filled Brett Favre’s shoes in Green Bay.

Despite struggling right out of the gate as the starter for the Packers, Love came on strong in the second half of the 2023 NFL season and helped lead his team to the playoffs.

Then Love really turned it on with an incredible performance against the Dallas Cowboys, resulting in an upset win over the second seed and the young quarterback earning the respect of Packers fans and his peers around the league, as well as legends off it like Peyton Manning, via Dov Kleiman.

Even though Love has a long way to go before he can be compared to the likes of a two-time Super Bowl champion like Manning, he’s well on his way to becoming a legitimate star in the NFL while leading the iconic Packers franchise moving forward.

Along with instilling confidence in their new star quarterback, the Packers have added some more talent around him this offseason with the addition of star running back Josh Jacobs, formerly of the Las Vegas Raiders.
