By the end of Week 10 in the 2023 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Jordan Love looked like busts with a 3-6 record.
Suddenly, the Pack went on a tear, winning six of their last eight games to finish 9-8 and qualify for the playoffs, then beating favored Dallas on the road, and nearly upsetting San Francisco.
Based on what the team showed at the end of last season, Green Bay is expected to be favorites to win the NFC North in 2024.
That’s despite the fact that the Pack doesn’t have a true number-one receiver.
For his part, Love believes all his pass-catchers are the top dogs at any given time.
In a recent Twitter post by Around The NFL, Love was quoted as saying, “All those guys can step up and be the one any given day.”

Last year, two rookies, receiver Jayden Reed and tight end Luke Musgrave, stepped up big when needed.
Reed led Green Bay with 64 receptions for 793 yards and 10 combined touchdowns.
Musgrave added 34 catches for 352 yards and a score.
Second-year receiver, Romeo Doubs, caught 59 passes for 674 yards and eight scores.
During the recent 2024 NFL Draft, Green Bay had 11 picks and not a single one was a receiver.
That speaks volumes regarding how well the front office and coaching staff believe in what they already have.
That’s a scary thought for opposing defenses.
