At one point in time, it seemed as though Tua Tagovailoa’s career in the NFL was doomed as he came into the league after suffering a major injury and then eventually suffered a scary injury on the professional level that had some thinking he wouldn’t last long as the Miami Dolphins’ starting quarterback.

Fortunately for Tagovailoa, he was able to bounce back and make many forget about his injury issues, as he has gotten better and better with every passing season with the Dolphins, leading to a career year during the 2023 campaign.

Tagovailoa became a legitimate NFL MVP candidate last season, as he passed for a career-high 4,624 yards and 29 touchdowns while playing in all 17 games resulting in 11 wins for the Dolphins.

With Tagovailoa proving his worth to Miami, Joy Taylor of FOX Sports believes the Dolphins should make him the highest-paid quarterback in the league, via “Speak” on FS1.

With Tagovailoa seemingly only getting better with more time under center and the team putting more talent around him like the recent signing of superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., the Dolphins making him a very rich man in the near future seems like a distinct possibility, but it remains to be seen how long he’d be the highest-paid quarterback in the league.
