One NFL player who must feel like he is in limbo this offseason is Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields.

He had a solid season as the Bears’ quarterback and showed some skills that can make him a franchise quarterback.

But, the Bears have the first overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

So they must decide if they want to keep Fields and trade the pick or trade Fields and draft a new quarterback.

Many people seem to believe the Bears will trade Fields.

If that is the case, there should be a few teams interested.

One team that needs a franchise quarterback is the Atlanta Falcons.

They should be very interested in acquiring Fields, who is a Georgia native.

Fields went on the “St. Brown Brothers” podcast to discuss many topics including his thoughts on the Falcons.

According to Ari Meirov, Fields said: “Atlanta would be tough… I think they got a lot of playmakers on the team. Bijan, my boy Kyle [Pitts], and of course Drake [London].”

Fields is talking as if he knows the Bears are going to trade him.

Also, he would be a great fit for the Falcons.

Atlanta has talented pieces on offense and a new head coach.

It makes sense they would look to bring in a new quarterback to try and resurrect the franchise.

Fields is most known for his dual-threat ability.

He is one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the NFL and that is a major bonus to his game.

The Falcons have been in QB purgatory for many years, and it is time they find someone with the potential to lead their franchise.
