During the Warriors’ triumph over the Suns on Saturday, tensions flared between Jusuf Nurkic and Draymond Green. The two players engaged in verbal taunts throughout the game, altering Nurkic’s perception of Green from before the heated exchanges.
“It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time. He’s going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance,” Nurkic said about Green.
Nurkic initially came to Green’s defense following an incident in mid-November when the Warriors’ star accidentally struck him in the face.
