Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has responded to speculation about his future in Italy amidst rumors of a possible move to Manchester United in the upcoming transfer window.
Following Raphael Varane’s departure, United are in the market for a defender, with Bremer among the names linked to the club alongside others like Jarrad Branthwaite, Marc Guehi, and Edmond Tapsoba.
Reports suggest that United are willing to pay €50 million to secure Bremer’s services and offer him a financial package of €10 million per year.
In the 2023/24 season, Bremer made 36 appearances for Juventus in Serie A, helping the team keep sixteen clean sheets and scoring three goals. He played a key role in Juventus winning the Coppa Italia trophy.
Currently on international duty with Brazil for the Copa America, Bremer expressed his satisfaction at Juventus but also stated his interest in playing in leagues like La Liga, Serie A, or the Premier League in the future.
Although his contract with Juventus runs until 2028, there is a release clause of around €60 million that could be triggered this summer.
