Kevin Durant has called out Nike for not including him in their latest advertising campaign.
Leading up to the upcoming Paris Olympics, Nike launched a major campaign featuring some of the most well-known athletes in the world.
The campaign, titled “Winning Isn’t For Everyone,” showcased several NBA players competing at the Olympics, such as LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Wembanyama, and A’ja Wilson.

Despite his long-standing relationship with the brand over 17 years, Durant was conspicuously missing from the campaign.
If KD secures another gold medal, he will hold the record for the most Men’s Olympic basketball gold medals, having won in 2012, 2016, and 2021.
The 14-time All-Star appeared to be upset by the snub and vented his frustration on his Instagram stories.

In one of his stories, he directly addressed Nike, saying, “@nike tell me, Am I a bad person?????” alongside a photo of himself in a Nike USA Basketball shirt.
He then shared another picture from 2012 showing himself, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant with their gold medals, expressing his loyalty to Nike.
Adding to his Instagram stories, he posted a photo from the 2016 Olympics quarantine period, showcasing his bond with Nike through the years.
The Nike KD series stands as the third-longest running shoe line in basketball behind the Air Jordan series and LeBron James’s line.
