Kevin Durant Responds Strongly to Reporter Regarding Misleading Warriors Narrative

NBA Fans React to Wild Paul George Game-Winner

Kevin Durant has officially joined the Houston Rockets, but the drama surrounding his past hasn’t slowed down.

The 15-time All-Star was traded by the Suns to the Rockets, marking the fifth NBA team of his Hall of Fame career.

But as the news broke, old narratives resurfaced, specifically the rumor that Durant declined a potential reunion with the Warriors due to lingering tension with head coach Steve Kerr.

In a recent article for The Ringer, NBA reporter Logan Murdock reignited that storyline.

“Durant’s exit from the Bay Area arguably had more to do with his issues with Steve Kerr than any shouting match with Green,” Murdock wrote. “Durant repeatedly complained both publicly and privately about Kerr’s offensive principles during his final season with the Warriors, and he continued to do so even after he left for Brooklyn. The two have since reconciled, but league sources identify Kerr as among the reasons Durant opted not to return to Golden State at the trade deadline,” according to The Ringer’s Logan Murdock.

Being the keyboard warrior he is, Durant swiftly took to social media to respond.

“We still on this???” KD posted on his X account. “Obvious opportunity for Logan Murdock to gain even more attention and try to revive his career by using my name and the Warriors. The audience is SICK AND TIRED of the same bullshit narrative. Be better my man.”

Durant and Murdock have clashed before, but the former MVP’s latest post was one of his sharpest public criticisms of media reporting to date.

Murdock, for his part, simply responded with a gif of Durant.

No doubt this won’t be the last time KD calls someone out on social media. Just wait till next week!
