Kevin Durant Struggles to Find Rhythm in Phoenix Suns Offense

Kevin Durant Plans To Play 'Until The Wheels Fall Off'

According to sources Shams Charania and Doug Haller of The Athletic, Kevin Durant never felt comfortable playing alongside Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in the Phoenix Suns’ offense.

Durant had “persistent issues” with his role in the offense, feeling relegated to the corner with the focus on pick-and-rolls rather than his own strengths.

Teammates and those close to the organization believed Durant should have communicated his concerns directly with Frank Vogel.

Kevin Young, now with BYU, was in charge of the Suns’ offense. Players questioned the coaching staff’s ability to maximize the potential of a lineup featuring Durant, Beal, and Booker.

The Suns are reportedly considering making significant changes to the coaching staff this offseason.
