Kevin Durant’s Reaction to Anthony Edwards’ Outlandish Trash Talk

Kevin Durant’s Reaction to Anthony Edwards’ Outlandish Trash Talk

There was a memorable moment in the Timberwolves-Suns game when Anthony Edwards began trash-talking his childhood idol Kevin Durant. Edwards expressed that the experience was one of the best feelings of his life after helping the Wolves win 120-95 and outscoring KD 18-10 in the third quarter.

Durant responded to the exchange by stating that it’s just basketball and that he needs to step up in the next game. Despite Edwards’ impressive performance with 33 points, Durant also had a strong showing with 31 points.

However, Edwards remains humble and acknowledges that it will be a tough challenge to beat the Suns in the next game. Durant believes that his teammate Devin Booker will have a better performance in Game 2 after struggling in the first game.

Booker attributed his difficulties to adjusting to the playoff intensity and fouling out early in the game. The Suns will rely on Booker to bounce back and help them even up the series against a formidable Minnesota team.
