The Cleveland Browns struggled with injuries more than any other team in the league last season.
Besides having several players on the shelf, they also lost some of their key contributors.
It all started when Nick Chubb suffered a gruesome knee injury early in the season in a divisional clash vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He’s been putting in a lot of hard work ever since, but his potential availability to start the season has been a big question mark thus far.
Recently, Dan Patrick asked HC Kevin Stefanski his thoughts on potentially having Chubb out there in Week 1, and while he didn’t want to put a timeframe on his return, he also claimed that he was never going to doubt Nick Chubb (via The Coachspeak Index).

Stefanski also claimed that the entire team is rallying behind Chubb and have the utmost confidence in him.
When healthy, Chubb is one of the best — if not the best — running backs in the game.
Still, unfortunately, this will be the second major knee injury he has suffered, dating back to his days in college.
We’ve seen how quickly and drastically running backs tend to fall from grace, and while his talent and work ethic will never be in doubt, no one knows whether he’ll ever get back to his usual level.
The Browns have big aspirations for the 2024 campaign after an impressive season, and while plenty of that will have to do with Deshaun Watson, having their star RB out there would also do wonders for them.
