As expected, the Los Angeles Chargers have been a run-heavy team this season.

That’s usually the case when Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman are calling the shots.

Even so, that might also be their only way to move the chains right now.

They’re currently dealing with a string of injuries at wide receiver, and they could be severely undermanned when they face the Arizona Cardinals for Monday Night Football.

Quentin Johnston is listed as doubtful and missed practice all week with an ankle injury.

However, not everything is bad news.

According to a report by Alex Insdorf of Bolts Breakdown, DJ Chark (groin) has been upgraded to questionable.

He’s currently on Injured Reserve (IR) and would have to be activated on Monday to be eligible.

Chark was expected to be one of Justin Herbert’s favorite targets this season, and having him out there could give them another dynamic playmaker and big-play threat.

It’s been a tough season with injuries for the Chargers.

All things considered, the Chargers have done a solid job of holding down the front despite this plethora of injuries.

They’re currently 1.5-point favorites ahead of the road contest, which will be the nightcap of a Monday Night Football double-header after the Baltimore Raven’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
