Key Raiders Wide Receiver Likely to Miss Sunday’s Game

Raiders Made 2 Roster Moves On Wednesday

Things are not exactly going well for the Las Vegas Raiders at the moment.

They are sitting at the bottom of the AFC West at 2-4, they just traded their best overall player, All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams, away to the New York Jets this week, and now they are dealing with a few key injuries.

According to senior ESPN insider Adam Schefter, veteran pass-catcher Jakobi Meyers is going to be doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

So as things stand right now, the top receivers for Las Vegas on Sunday look to be Tre Tucker, D.J. Turner, and Tyreik McAllister.

There also appears to be a quarterback carousel going on between Aidan O’Connell and veteran Gardner. Minshew.

This week, O’Connell will get the start.

The tough part about this season for Antonio Pierce and Co. is that the organization doesn’t have a direction at the moment.

Aside from star edge-rusher Maxx Crosby, the team doesn’t have anybody else to build around.

Pierce also is the fourth different head coach that the Raiders have had in the last four years.

There has been no stability and no consistency.

With the trading away of Adams, it feels as though this season could be a wash for the team unless they can find a way to win games without their best players, which is what they will have to try and do on Sunday without Meyers.

Time will tell to see what kind of a product the team puts out there on the field on Sunday.
