Kirk Cousins Had 3-Word Reaction After Big Thursday Win

The Atlanta Falcons got a vintage performance from veteran Kirk Cousins on Thursday night.

The four-time Pro Bowl signal-caller threw for over 500 yards and four touchdowns en route to helping the Falcons get a big divisional win in overtime against the rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In the locker room after the game, Cousins can be heard saying the three words that helped contribute to his fame earlier on in his career.

“You like that,” Cousins exclaimed in the celebrating locker room.

Don’t look now, but the Falcons are sitting at a quiet 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the NFC South.

They have played in five one-possession games, and the case could be made that they should be at least 4-1.

Regardless, Raheem Morris’s team looks like a playoff team right now.

The offense, thanks to Cousins’ experience, could be dangerous down the road if they play like they did on Thursday night.

They haven’t won in the prettiest ways, but the bottom line is that they have positioned themselves for contention later on in the season.

Before the start of this week, the Falcons were one of seven teams with a record of 2-2.

Now, they are one of eight teams with two losses.

Every single win matters, regardless of it being a blowout, a low-scoring game, or an overtime barn-burner.

The fact that they won in such dramatic fashion against the Bucs could be something that propels them forward too.

Winning the game on one play is a lot more powerful for a team than the average fan might think.
