Knicks’ Bojan Bogdanovic ruled out for rest of the season

Season is over for Knicks' Bojan Bogdanovic

The New York Knicks, already missing All-Star center Julius Randle, have been dealt another blow as Bojan Bogdanovic is set to undergo a season-ending surgery to repair foot and wrist injuries, as reported by NBA insider Shams Charania.

The 35-year-old small forward, who was acquired by the Knicks from the Detroit Pistons at the trade deadline, has provided scoring off the bench for his new team.

Bogdanovic averaged 10.4 points and two rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game for the Knicks during the regular season. His role was reduced to six points and three rebounds in 12.8 minutes per game in playoffs.

The Knicks currently lead 3-2 in the first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
