Krejcikova Triumphs Over Paolini to Win Wimbledon Women’s Singles Championship

(July 13, 2024) No. 31 Barbora Krejcikova of the Czech Republic defeated No, 7 Jasmine Paolini of Italy 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 on Saturday to win the women’s title at Wimbledon. It was her first Wimbledon singles final and title. The Czech won the French Open in 2021 and this Wimbledon crown is her second major title.

Krejcikova has won many major doubles titles and has a career doubles Grand Slam.
