Nick Kyrgios recently advised tennis fans on the choice of ideal Thanksgiving partners from a list featuring some of the best tennis players across the ATP and WTA tours.
A tennis fan shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) depicting tennis players on Thanksgiving dinner tables with a turkey on the plate. There were five tables of three occupied by tennis players. In the tweet, the user posed the question to the followers on which one they were likely to join.
Kyrgios responded to the tweet urging his followers to select table B which included himself, Daniil Medvedev, and Andrey Rublev. Kyrgios is obviously on good terms with the Russian duo and very recently showed his concern for Rublev.
The injured Australian star offered to help after Rublev burst his knee open for losing control of his emotions during a match at the ATP Finals. Most of the fans concurred with Kyrgios’ choice of Thanksgiving table, pooling three of the most flamboyant characters in tennis.
“If you wanna have the night of your life and memories that will last forever, you are kidding yourself if you are taking any other table but B.”
“How could you not sit at B. Just imagine the banter,” one fan wrote in correlation to Kyrgios’ assessment. Table A (featuring Paula Badosa, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Aryna Sabalenka) and Table C (Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, and Jannik Sinner) hardly got any mentions.
Kyrgios wasn’t the only player who commented. Reigning US Open champion Coco Gauff who is also featured in this Thanksgiving-themed tweet, wrote, “D the most lit for sure.” Gauff is featured in table D together with fellow Americans Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe.
Shelton is no stranger to making himself popular and Tiafoe brings energy wherever he goes. Tennis fans in the comments section were totally torn between selecting some of their favorite players and the sport’s most vibrant names.
