La Liga club fly to Aston Villa to meet Monchi and Unai Emery

Aston Villa are having a very good season under Unai Emery and Monchi’s watch and one La Liga club has flown to Birmingham to see how things are done.

Estadio Deportivo have reported that UD Las Palmas have sent officials to watch the Premier League club operate behind the scenes in the hope of gaining some knowledge that they can use.

Officials from their scouting, technology and individual development have all flown to Birmingham to get to know Aston Villa’s facilities better and the Spanish outfit have held meetings with the club’s staff, including coaches and analysts, as well as Monchi and Emery.

Many of the Villa’s processes have been discussed; from football tactics to player development, as well as the ‘Monchi method’ to organise the scouting job.

This is a huge compliment to Villa as it shows that the outside World view them as a success.

The Spanish influence at the Birmingham club prompted Las Palmas to do this and they will hope to have gained some knowledge from their trip.
