Lakers Players Speak Up to Darvin Ham During Unfiltered Film Session

Lakers

Lakers players spoke out during a “bull session” following the team’s 110-96 loss to the Miami Heat on January 3.

According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Ham was the one to organise the unfiltered film session, following the emergence of a report of disconnect in the Lakers’ locker room.

“Hell yeah, I open the floor,” Ham told The Athletic. “Give me some feedback. I don’t have pride. My pride is not crazy. My ego — all that.

“We had a couple (players) speak up. I’ll just leave it there, but we had a few guys speak up. And right or wrong, I love it. I agreed with most of it, and I disagreed with some.”

Ham’s plan was to open the lines of communication in an attempt to help get things back on track.

Meanwhile, the players who spoke out have not yet been identified.

After letting out their pent-up frustrations during that session, the Lakers went on to lose to the Grizzlies and then beat the Clippers and Raptors.

However, they have still lost four of their last six games.

LA will return to the court when they face the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.
