During his college career, Dalton Knecht played two seasons at the University of Northern Colorado before transferring to Tennessee for his final year of eligibility. In the 2023-24 season, Knecht averaged a career-high 21.7 points per game and was recognized as the SEC Player of the Year and a Consensus All-American.
