A topic of discussion each offseason around the NFL is who will be put on the cover of Madden.

One of the most popular video games in the world, only the best of the best are considered for the cover.

This year, that honor went to the league’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year in 49ers All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey.

However, while recently appearing on NFL Network’s The Insiders, Eagles All-Pro offensive tackle Lane Johnson called for a certain offensive lineman to represent the cover of the popular game.

“I thought Kelce would’ve been a great candidate to be on the cover,” Johnson said.

It would be an outside-the-box move by the folks at Madden to put an offensive lineman on the cover.

Especially since Jason Kelce just announced his retirement from the NFL, he could’ve been a really nice choice.

The seven-time Pro-Bowler and Super Bowl champion was one of the best centers in the history of the league during his 13-year career in Philadelphia.

Madden tends to go with either quarterbacks or other exciting skill players most of the time when picking who will represent the cover.

But, it would’ve been nice to see the folks throw a curveball at everyone by going with an offensive lineman.
