Al Kahraba Electricity (Superleague) agreed terms with 32-year old Serbian center Nemanja Besovic (221cm-120kg-1992) for new 2024-25 season. Besovic played this summer at Tangerang in Indonesian IBL league. In 5 games just recently he had 12.8ppg, 9.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0bpg.
He was a member of Serbian U20 National Team back in 2012.
Besovic is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi and Pepinster), Bulgaria (Akademik Plovdiv), Iran (Zob Ahan), Qatar (Al Ahli Sports Club Doha and Al Gharafa), Syria (Al Karameh), Taiwan (Pilots), Serbia (Partizan and Vojvodina S Gas), United Arab Emirates (Baniyas) and North Macedonia (Strumica). Besovic won Serbian League championship title in 2011 and 2012.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2018.
