Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse (Betclic ELITE ProA) added 33-year old American swingman Brandon Paul (193cm-91kg-1991, college: Illinois, agency: Pensack Sports) for the 2024-25 season. Paul played last season at Buducnost in Montenegrin Erste Liga. In 18 Eurocup games he recorded 7.2ppg, 2.9rpg, and 1.6apg. He also played 23 games in ABA League where he averaged 8.4ppg, 2.8rpg, and 1.5apg. The previous (2022-23) season he played at ratiopharm Ulm in German BBL. In 36 games he had 11.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.4apg, and 1.1spg in that year. Paul helped them to win the league title. Quite an impressive season as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Second Team. He also played 13 games in Eurocup where he got 11.7ppg, 3.8rpg, and 1.1apg in that year. Paul contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals. The other team he played shortly was Heroes in Chinese CBA. In 6 games he got 14.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.3apg, and 2.2spg in that year. He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. Paul is quite an experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in nine different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Australia, and of course North America. Paul has played previously professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers), Greece (Olympiacos), Russia (BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod), Spain (Joventut), Turkey (Efes), NBA (Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs), China (Golden Bulls), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge), and The Basketball Tournament (Team Hines). The list of past achievements is quite long as among others he was selected to Eurobasket.com Spanish Liga Endesa All-Imports Team back in 2016. He graduated from University of Illinois in 2013, and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
