The most crucial game of the round saw top-ranked Zalgiris (25-4) suffer a 97-93 defeat against third-ranked Wolves (23-8). This loss ended Zalgiris’ three-game winning streak. Wolves put on a stunning performance, making 22 out of 27 free throws and sinking 15 three-pointers at an impressive 51.7% rate. Nigerian-American Rasheed Sulaimon led Wolves with 27 points, while Swedish-American forward Jeffery Taylor contributed 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. On the other side, American guard Keenan Evans scored 19 points and dished out 8 assists for Zalgiris.

Despite the close margin, Juventus extended their winning streak to five games and maintain the fourth position in the league standings. Jonava stays in the eighth spot with 20 losses.

Siauliai vs. Neptunas

In an upset, tenth-ranked Siauliai (9-22) defeated higher-ranked Neptunas (16-16) 104-98. Siauliai’s efficient free-throw shooting and strong defense played a pivotal role in the victory.
