LeBron James Criticizes Officiating Following Tough Defeat

LeBron

LeBron James expressed his frustration with the officiating in Game 2 of the first-round series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets. Following the game, James criticized the replay center for making what he believed to be an incorrect call.

“I don’t understand what’s going on in the replay center, to be honest,” James stated. “DLo clearly gets hit in the face on a drive. What the heck do we have a replay center for if it’s going to go like that? It doesn’t make sense to me.”

D’Angelo Russell also voiced his frustration, saying, “That’s a foul we all saw it on national television.”

Anthony Davis acknowledged that the Lakers also had some responsibility for the loss, admitting, “We have stretches where we don’t know what we’re doing on both ends of the floor.”

Despite strong performances from Davis and James, the Lakers were unable to secure a road win in Denver. Game 3 is set to take place in Los Angeles on Thursday.
