Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James praised Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic, calling him one of the greatest players in basketball history.

Before their first-round playoff matchup, James lauded Jokic’s versatility and leadership, emphasizing his ability to raise his teammates’ performance.

“He’s one of the best players to ever play this game. It’s that simple. He does everything. The most important thing is he changes the way his teammates think about their own play. When you’re able to inspire your teammates to play at a level that sometimes they don’t even feel like they can play at, that’s a true testament of a great one,” James said about the Serbian superstar, per Michael Scotto.

Jokic, a two-time MVP, has been a dominant force this season, averaging 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 9 assists per game.

The Lakers and Nuggets renew their playoff rivalry, recalling last season’s Western Conference Finals clash, where the Nuggets stunned the Lakers with a 4-0 series sweep.
