LeBron James Shares Insights on JJ Redick’s Coaching Approach

Lakers Redick

LeBron James has shared his thoughts on new Lakers coach JJ Redick and his approach to practice.

LeBron recognizes Redick’s focus on details, stating, “I know he’s super-detailed when it comes to that. Going against him in the past, that’s what it’s all about. Putting the work in and being detailed.”

With Redick coaching from the sidelines, LeBron, a 22-year veteran, plans to act as an extension of the coaching staff on the court.

LeBron explained, “My voice is very commanding, but I’ll be an extension of the coaching staff on the floor.”

Describing the first day of practice under Redick, LeBron said, “We did a little bit of everything, just getting our system put in and going on to implement it. Very detailed oriented, it’s gotta be every single day in order for us to get better.”

LeBron emphasized the importance of daily improvement and building chemistry within the team.
