Leeds United is keen on acquiring Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The Norwegian player has been in the news for a potential exit from the Premier League outfit, with his market value set at £40 million. According to Leeds Live, the club is contemplating a player-plus-cash arrangement to facilitate his transfer.
Additionally, West Ham United is also showing interest in bringing Larsen aboard.
Need for Depth in Attack
Leeds United requires additional strength in their offensive line, having relied heavily on Dominic Calvert-Lewin this season. While Calvert-Lewin has performed admirably for the newly promoted team, the squad needs more skilled options as they strive to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Bringing Larsen into the fold would significantly enhance their attacking capability. His performances at Wolves have showcased his talent, and now he may be looking to align himself with a more prominent club, especially since Wolves are currently among the favorites for relegation this season.
Nevertheless, Leeds remains in a precarious position, battling to maintain their status in the top tier. Fortunately for them, they are in a more favorable standing compared to Wolves, leading to anticipation about whether they can persuade Larsen to join their ranks.
Negotiations in Progress

In their efforts to finalize a deal, Leeds would need to negotiate with Wolves effectively. Reports suggest they might offer Joel Piroe and Wilfried Gnonto, coupled with £5 million, as part of the transaction. Both Piroe and Gnonto have found it challenging to secure consistent playtime at Leeds and a move to Wolves could benefit them as well.
It remains to be seen if the two clubs can reach an agreement that is advantageous for both parties. There is little doubt that Larsen’s addition would elevate Leeds’ attacking potential significantly.
