Leeds United plans to bolster Daniel Farke’s squad in January, focusing on the winger position. The team’s recent transition to a 3-5-2 formation has highlighted deficiencies in this area, prompting a need for reinforcements.
Only Noah Okafor has joined the club as a recognized winger this summer, but his performance since transferring from AC Milan has been below expectations, with just two goals in 13 matches. This has not matched the anticipation following his acquisition to fill the void left by Manor Solomon, who excelled in the Championship last season.
To remedy these challenges, Leeds may contemplate a move for Solomon, who is facing difficulties in his current season.
Leeds Looking to Reacquire Manor Solomon

According to SportsBoom (via The Yorkshire Post), Leeds is keen on re-signing Solomon in January. The 26-year-old has not found success during his loan spell at Villarreal, where he joined from Tottenham in the latter days of the summer window.
Having participated in only 10 matches for Villarreal, where the coach has preferred Alberto Moleiro on the left side, there are discussions at Tottenham about terminating the loan, which could potentially allow Leeds to secure his return.
Considerations for Leeds to Re-sign Manor Solomon
Given Solomon’s impressive performance last season, Leeds’ interest comes as no surprise. The club had aimed to bring him back during the summer, but a deal fell through, leading to his move to La Liga.
While Solomon has shown his capabilities as a player, he has encountered challenges while at Villarreal. A return to Elland Road could be beneficial for both him and Leeds.
