Legendary Quarterback confesses to involvement in ‘Deflategate’ in a light-hearted and entertaining fashion

Tom Brady acknowledges his fans during a halftime celebration and the announcement of his induction in the the Patriots Hall of Fame.

After dominating opposing fans for more than two decades, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady found himself on the receiving end of some playful torment on Sunday night. Brady was the main attraction in Netflix’s live special, ‘The Greatest Roast of All Time.’ The evening kicked off with a comical moment as former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick informed Drew Bledsoe that he was essentially being benched for Brady once again.

The roast featured several comedians, former teammates, and famous celebrities taking shots at Brady. Will Ferrell made an appearance as Ron Burgundy from ‘Anchorman’ to remind Brady of his losses to Eli Manning. Even Kim Kardashian joined in on the fun, playfully poking fun at Brady and his inability to defend himself.

One of Brady’s biggest rivals, Peyton Manning, also took the stage to trade jokes with Brady. Manning teased Brady about his Super Bowl losses and even made a lighthearted reference to his own children’s bathroom habits.

Before Brady closed out the event, his former head coach Belichick stole the show with his own set of jokes. Belichick targeted former Patriots player Rob Gronkowski, humorously urging him to “stop doing your job.” Patriots owner Robert Kraft also shared a few laughs before praising Brady and eventually toasting with Belichick.

Brady didn’t let the night end without firing back at his critics. He took the stage and humorously addressed the ‘Deflategate’ controversy, joking that the NFL could have paid him $20 million to admit to deflating footballs. Despite the jokes at his expense, Brady ended the night with a comeback of his own, proving once again why he is a force to be reckoned with.

Overall, Netflix’s live roast of Tom Brady was a success, filled with memorable moments and hilarious jokes. It will be interesting to see who steps up as the next target for this comedic torture.
