Manchester United have confirmed that new signing Leny Yoro has been included in the team’s travelling party to face Rangers later on Saturday.
United recently announced the signing of Yoro from Lille in a deal worth £42m plus £10m in add-ons.
Erik ten Hag’s side fought off stiff competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool to land the highly-rated French defender.
Yoro wasted no time in getting to work as he took part in training with his new teammates on Friday.
The 18-year-old was pictured at Carrington, ready to participate in the group session.

Ten Hag has named a 26-man squad for United’s second pre-season friendly against Scottish giants Rangers at Murrayfield.
The game will be the Red Devils’ second of their pre-season campaign, following Monday’s 1-0 loss at the hands of Rosenborg.
United state via their official website, “Our players have been traveling to Edinburgh, and there are several fresh additions to the group that was deployed for our summer opener earlier in the week.”
“That includes new recruit Leny Yoro, who is in contention to make his first United outing this afternoon, after becoming our men’s team’s second signing of the summer on Thursday.”
“Yoro comes into the squad alongside Amad, Andre Onana, and Jadon Sancho who would all get their first minutes of the pre-season if they play at Murrayfield, having not traveled for Monday’s game in Norway.”
“Antony, Victor Lindelof, and Marcus Rashford miss this one with small niggles. Harry Maguire is also an absentee but has been seen in training this week as he works his way back to full fitness from an injury. Tyrell Malacia is continuing his fitness program at Carrington meanwhile, where Scott McTominay is also building up his sharpness having recently returned from the Euros.”
United’s goalkeepers for the meeting with Rangers are Dermot Mee, Andre Onana, and Radek Vitek.
Ten Hag will be able to pick his backline from a pool of defenders consisting of stars such as Sonny Aljofree, Harry Amass, Rhys Bennett, Jonny Evans, Will Fish, Louis Jackson, Sam Murray, Habeeb Ogunneye, Maximillian Oyedele, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Yoro.
Midfielders in the traveling party are Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Jack Fletcher, Hannibal, Samuel Mather, Mason Mount, and James Scanlon.
United’s forward options include Amad Diallo, Ethan Ennis, Joe Hugill, Jadon Sancho, and Ethan Wheatley.
The match kicks off at 16:00 BST. It remains to be seen whether Yoro stars vs. Rangers, as predicted here by The Peoples Person.
