LeSean McCoy confident Chiefs are not facing any major threats

LeSean McCoy Believes There Is No Threat To The Chiefs

To be clear, the Kansas City Chiefs are about to attempt what no NFL team in the long history of the league has been able to accomplish – win three Super Bowls in a row.

And while they are certainly in the driver’s seat for that honor, it seems a stretch to say that another Lombardi Trophy is already wrapped up by Mahomes, Reid and Co.

But that’s precisely what one notable analyst believes.

Former NFL star LeSean McCoy told FS1’s Speak that the Chiefs do not have a threat within the league.

He asserted that the two-time defending champs do not get enough respect for their accomplishments.

Last season, Kansas City’s squad faced stiff competition from a host of teams that retooled and added new weapons, but the end result was the same.

McCoy noted that the 2023 club, for a substantial part of the season, looked far from being ready to repeat as Super Bowl champs.

The former running back declared he will not be fooled again.

McCoy admitted that there are obviously other good NFL teams, and just in the AFC, the Bills, Ravens, Texans, and a few others come quickly to mind.

However, none have shown that they have the makeup to dethrone the Chiefs when it counts, and the analyst flatly refuses to play the game of who the next anointed challenger is.

Despite the parity that supposedly exists in the NFL and the long list of talented clubs, Kansas City may well prove him right.
