Bristol Flyers are proud to
announce the return of American forward Levi Bradley.
The 6’7” Milwaukee native has penned a deal until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Bradley first joined the
Flyers in 2019 and was a key member of Bristol’s squad that reached their first
ever British Basketball League Cup Final in 2020.
He averaged 14.8 points and
4.3 rebounds per game as a rookie out of Northern Illinois University, before
the season was cut short due to the COVID pandemic.
Bradley returned to the
British Basketball League for Cheshire Phoenix in 2021, where his 13 points per
game led the Phoenix to the 2022 British Basketball League Trophy title.
Last season saw the American compete
in Cyprus’ Division A for Anorthosis Famagusta, where he posted 12.5 points and
five rebounds per game.
Now in his fourth season as a
pro, Bradley is hoping his experience can help take the Flyers to another level
in 2024.
Speaking on his return to the club, Bradley said:
“I’m excited to be back. The Flyers are a great, family-orientated
organisation and they always put their players first.
“I really enjoyed my first
spell with the club. It was unfortunate that our season got cut short because
we could have made a lot of noise that year.
“I’ve been keeping tabs on the
League since I left and I’m excited to link
up with both Raph (Thomas-Edwards) and Te’Jon (Lucas) again – we grew up together in the same city.
“Coach wants me to come in and
do whatever it takes to win. The team has been playing some great basketball
this season and we want that to continue into the New Year.”
Flyers Head Coach, Andreas Kapoulas, added:
“Entering the second half of
the season, we felt that with our guards now returning from injury, it was
important to add depth to our front court.
“Levi is a player that has
experience playing in our league, knows our system and understands what it
means to play for our club.
“He is a versatile player, who
can make an impact on both ends of the court in a number of different ways.
“We’re excited to welcome him back to Bristol for the rest of the season.”
