With NFL training camp just a few weeks away, the Cincinnati Bengals will look to change the team’s perception and prove they’re worthy of being considered a Super Bowl contender during the 2024 NFL season.
The Bengals took a step back in 2023 as they dealt with several injuries, most notably Joe Burrow who started the year hobbled by a calf injury before he suffered a season-ending wrist injury that required surgery.
Burrow is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league, though his checkered injury history has hampered Cincinnati’s ability to compete in the playoffs.
However, the star signal caller is on track to be fully available for training camp and the regular season, meaning the Bengals could very well be a sleeping giant in the AFC North.
While the Kansas City Chiefs remains the favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, Cincinnati shouldn’t be taken lightly with Burrow back under center.
In the meantime, superstar rapper Lil’ Wayne shouted out Burrow on his new feature with fellow hip-hop artist Flau’jae via Dov Kleiman.

In the song, Lil’ Wayne raps that he’s repping LSU like Burrow, a nod to the latter’s alma mater where he won the Heisman Trophy.
Lil’ Wayne is a New Orleans native who has name-dropped other Louisiana athletes, and Burrow gets a mention on the feature.
While a cool moment for Burrow, he and the Bengals will be focused on bringing a championship to Cincinnati next season.
