Liverpool Snubs Bayern’s Bid for Díaz: What It Means for the Transfer Market

Liverpool Snubs Bayern's Bid for Díaz: What It Means for the Transfer Market

Liverpool Rejects Bayern Munich’s Bid for Luis Díaz

According to sources, Liverpool has turned down a €67.5 million (£58.6 million) offer from Bayern Munich for forward Luis Díaz.

Last season marked Díaz’s most successful run with Liverpool, as he netted 17 goals across all competitions, contributing significantly to the team’s Premier League championship under manager Arne Slot.

The 28-year-old Díaz, who has two years remaining on his current contract, has emerged as a key target for the German side. Bayern submitted their official bid on Tuesday.

In a decisive response, Liverpool rejected the offer, emphasizing that Díaz is not for sale this summer. This rejection follows another recent bid from Barcelona, which Liverpool also declined.

It appears that the club would only reconsider their position if a significantly larger offer was presented.
