Manchester United loanees were in action across England and beyond this weekend.
Radek Vitek (FC Blau-Weiss Linz vs. Wolfsberger AC)
Highly-rated Czech goalkeeper Radek Vitek was player of the match in his first game back from injury, despite it ending in defeat as his FC Blau-Weiss Linz side lost 0-1 to Wolfsberger AC in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The six foot six inch shot-stopper made an incredible eight saves, six of them from inside the box, to limit the damage to just one goal, although BW Linz had the same amount of shots as their opponents.
Vitek ended the game with a sofascore rating of 8.2, aided by his 85% passing accuracy.
Sonny Aljofree (Accrington Stanley vs. Barrow)
The 19-year-old centre-back Sonny Aljofree made it three starts in a row for Accrington Stanley as he helped the League Two outfit to a 1-0 win over Barrow.
Played on the right side of a back three, he turned in a solid defensive display to contribute to Accrington’s first clean sheet of the season, making six clearances and two interceptions in the face of intense Barrow pressure.
It was a different story with the ball at his feet – Aljofree lost possession 20 times, more than any other Accrington player, finishing the game with just 14% of his attempted passes finding their target.
Nevertheless, he continues to be the Lancashire side’s lucky charm, with all three of their league wins coming with him on the pitch.
Rhys Bennett (Port Vale vs. Fleetwood Town)
Rhys Bennett sat in the heart of defence for Fleetwood Town once again, but struggled along with his teammates in the face of an impressive Port Vale side who ran out 3-1 winners.
Bennett was in the thick of it for Fleetwood, making seven clearances and contesting 17 duels, eight of which he won.
He also performed well on the ball, completing the most accurate passes of anyone on his team, finding his man 40 times with an impressive 85% accuracy, and supplying one key pass.
Elyh Harrison (Chester FC vs. Scunthorpe United)
18-year-old goalkeeper Elyh Harrison made it four clean sheets from six league matches as he helped Chester FC secure a goalless draw with league leaders Scunthorpe United.
Harrison, who made two saves during the match, had the joint-highest sofascore rating amongst the Chester players of 7.4. He also recorded 27 accurate passes, more than anyone else in a Chester shirt.
