The Los Angeles Rams entered the 2024 NFL season with high hopes of competing in the NFC after their successful run last season.

However, the Rams have been hit the hardest with injuries through two weeks as the team is missing several starters on both sides of the field.

Offensively, Los Angeles is decimated as they’re dealing with long-term injuries to star receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp as well as their offensive line.

Defensively, the Rams are also missing some key starters which doesn’t bode well for their chances in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers.

While San Francisco is dealing with its own set of injury woes, all signs point to another miserable week for a Los Angeles team desperate for a win.

Ahead of the rivalry matchup, the Rams made a couple of active roster moves via the team’s official social media account.

Tyler Higbee remains out due to the knee injury he suffered in the playoffs, while Davis Allen is being held out of the game against the 49ers due to a back injury.

Tight end Nikola Kalinic will serve as depth behind starter Colby Parkinson while wide receiver Xavier Smith will be playing behind the likes of Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and Tyler Johnson.

It’s been a nightmare start to the new season for Los Angeles, and it’s hard to imagine them turning it around against San Francisco with all the injuries they’ve sustained so far.
