Brazilian forward Luiz Henrique has recently emerged as a potential target for Arsenal. The 25-year-old has openly expressed his ambition to join the Premier League side, having spoken with teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes, who praised the club and manager Mikel Arteta.
Henrique stated, “I really like Arsenal and the aggressive style they play. They utilize both the left and right flanks effectively, which excites me about the possibility of playing for them.” He continued, “I’ve had conversations with Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli, and they’ve shared their positive experiences about the team and coach Arteta, who is known for being receptive to player input. With a bit of luck, I hope to have the chance to work under him.”
Arsenal’s Needs in the Squad
With the current campaign underway, Arsenal is in need of enhanced quality in their attacking options, particularly on the wings. Henrique’s addition could provide the team with much-needed speed and creativity in the final third. Although Arsenal has invested in players like Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze to improve their offensive output, these signings have yet to yield the anticipated results.
Currently playing for Zenit Saint Petersburg, where he signed in January 2025, Henrique has made an impact, recording five goals and six assists in 39 appearances. His contract extends until 2028, leaving uncertainty regarding a potential move during the upcoming summer transfer window.
