Hall of Famer Magic Johnson issued an apology for his load management comments following the Los Angeles Lakers’ first-round playoff exit after losing 1-4 to the Denver Nuggets.
In a series of tweets, Johnson claimed that one of the key reasons why the Lakers’ season ended the way it did was due to load management.
Now, Johnson says that his assessment was incorrect, for which he apologizes.
“Laker Nation, I have to apologize to the Lakers organization. It was injuries that plagued the Lakers this season, not load management,” Johnson tweeted.
