Manchester United have been desperately trying to move on Jadon Sancho on a permanent basis but so far they have had very little luck.
The Englishman had a major falling-out with Erik ten Hag last season and was subsequently loaned out to Borussia Dortmund in January.
The 24-year-old ended the temporary stint strongly, guiding the Bundesliga giants to an unlikely Champions League final where they lost out to Real Madrid.
The Germans were keen to acquire the former Manchester City academy graduate on a permanent basis but United’s asking price of €50 million was beyond their means.
Juve in the hot seat for Sancho
With the Red Devils choosing to stick with Ten Hag, the England international’s chances of resurrecting his United career also went up in flames.
Juventus are in the hotseat with The Peoples Person even relaying that a loan deal was close to completion. However, CaughtOffside have claimed that the Old Lady are offering an option to buy at the end of the loan spell, while the 20-time English league champions would prefer an obligation to buy.
That is why INEOS have even started offering Sancho’s services to European bigwigs like Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and Napoli.
“With his Man United career definitively over Jadon Sancho is looking at future playing options, and Italian giants, Juventus, are believed to want to sign the winger on loan with the option of a permanent transfer.
“CaughtOffside sources with knowledge of the Red Devils transfer plans note that United would prefer a straight sale and have set a price tag of €50m, though would accept upwards of €40m.
“To that end, it’s understood that they’ve been touting the player’s availability to Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.”
United offering Sancho all over Europe
A lot will depend on the kind of deal potential suitors offer with the Red Devils hoping for a permanent exit this summer. The versatile forward’s wishes will also be taken into account with the player happy with the Turin-based club’s interest.
INEOS have tried every tactic in the book, even going so far as to offer his services to United’s fierce league rivals like Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea but none of them have taken the bait.
Mason Greenwood’s move to Marseille is close to completion and United will want to sort out Sancho’s future soon as well. The club need to raise funds to power their recruitment drive due to PSR concerns.
United are locked in talks with a multitude of targets all across the pitch and Sancho’s sale would help them get a few deals over the line.
