Man United’s Starting XI Against Crystal Palace Confirmed: Marcus Rashford Left Out – Latest News and Transfer Updates

Gary Neville says it's "sad watching" Marcus Rashford after another poor performance vs. Liverpool - Man United News And Transfer News

Marcus Rashford is surprisingly not in the starting lineup for Manchester United today for their 5.30pm kick off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

We do not yet know if Rashford has a slight injury or is ill. Manager Erik ten Hag has picked him through some bad form and so it is a strange time to drop him now he is on a roll, with three goals in two games.

The fact he is on the bench suggests any issue he does have would be minor, so it may just be a case of Ten Hag rotating his wingers to keep them fresh.

In midfield, there is no Casemiro or Manuel Ugarte as the in-form Christian Eriksen surprisingly keeps his place to start for the third time in eight days after becoming almost a fringe player for Erik ten Hag last season.

Elsewhere there are few surprises.

Andre Onana returns in goal after being rested against Barnsley.

Noussair Mazraoui is at right back, Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez are the centre backs and Diogo Dalot the left back.

Kobbie Mainoo joins Eriksen in midfield.

Bruno Fernandes is the number 10, with Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho on the wings and Josh Zirkzee up front.

On the bench there are welcome returns for Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount, who have recovered from injury.

They are joined by goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, Harry Maguire, Jonny Evans, Casemiro, Ugarte, Antony and Rashford.

The injury list is finally getting much shorter. Tyrell Malacia and Victor Lindelof are back in training, leaving just Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw in the physio room.
