Manchester City Extends Puma Deal for Record £1 Billion
On July 15, 2025, Manchester City revealed they have extended their partnership with sportswear brand Puma for an additional ten years, committing to a contract that lasts until 2035.
According to sources, the newly negotiated deal is estimated to reach up to £1 billion ($1.3 billion), equating to £100 million annually. This marks a significant increase from their previous contract worth £65 million a year, which was established in 2019.
This agreement is poised to set a new benchmark for kit supplier deals among English football clubs, surpassing Manchester United’s 2023 contract with Adidas, valued at £900 million over ten years.
“Our collaboration with Puma was initiated with the goal of pushing our limits and exceeding expectations,” remarked Ferran Soriano, CEO of City Football Group (CFG). “In the past six seasons, we have not only met this ambition but have gone beyond it.”
Puma has established partnerships with other CFG teams, including Melbourne City, Girona, Palermo, and Mumbai City.
Soriano emphasized, “Puma has integrated effortlessly into our organization, and together we have celebrated numerous historic moments while engaging our global fanbase. This renewal strengthens our partnership and sets the stage for an even more promising future.”
Recently, Manchester City faced an early exit from the Club World Cup, being defeated by Al Hilal in the round of 16. They are scheduled to resume competitive action in a pre-season friendly against fellow CFG side Palermo on August 9.
Additionally, the club has confirmed Kolo Touré’s permanent appointment to the coaching staff following his role as assistant manager alongside Pep Guardiola during the Club World Cup.
