Manchester United academy standout Louie Bradbury scores hat-trick in just 22 minutes for Wales – Latest Man United Transfer and Team News

Chido Obi-Martin arrives for medical ahead of signing for Man United - Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United’s 15-year-old attacking sensation Louie Bradbury scored a first-half hat-trick for Wales under 17s against Gibraltar under 17s yesterday afternoon.

The youngster was signed from Shrewsbury Town last season and has been making strong progress at United.

Bradbury took to social media in the summer to show off his skills and claimed that he had scored over 40 goals last season for the Red Devils academy teams.

The young striker was pivotal in United lifting the Premier League Albert Phelan Cup with the Under 14s and even scored against Liverpool for the under 16s.

He was also involved in the United academy’s squad that traveled to Northern Ireland this summer to take part in the famous NI Super Cup youth tournament.

Bradbury certainly showed off his attacking prowess for his nation yesterday as he took the match ball.

He netted his first in the 14th minute and piled on the misery for the Gibraltarians with further strikes in the 22nd and 36th minute of play.

Everton’s Shea Pita and Southampton’s Oli Newman added two more goals in the second half to complete a comfortable victory for the Welsh.

The youngster has caught the eye of his nation from a very young age as he was called up to represent Wales under 15s in a four-team tournament in August 2022.

Despite being very young, Bradbury will hope he can perhaps get game time for the under 18s this season and maybe even take part in some training sessions with the first team.

Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo’s rise from youth cup winners to star players in two years at the club certainly shows there is a pathway to the senior side if you are good enough.

Ethan Wheatley became the 250th academy graduate to make a debut for the first team last season against Sheffield United and Toby Collyer became the latest Carrington product to appear in Erik ten Hag’s squad against Liverpool last weekend.
