Midfield requirement

According to a report, Manchester United are looking at signing two midfielders with a keen eye on finding the right defensive midfield replacement for the five-time Champions League winner.
One of the players being eyed is Wolverhampton Wanderers star Joao Gomes, while Benfica ace Joao Neves is also in consideration.
The club had submitted their first bid for Joao Neves, but it was rejected.
On-loan Sofyan Amrabat has not fared too well throughout the season, but his final display has many calling for the Moroccan to be given a permanent deal.

It is well known that the team’s budget is not too high and the club need to sign more than one centre-back and also an elite strike partner for Rasmus Hojlund.
