Manchester United announces the official unveiling of their 2024/25 away kit – Latest news on Manchester United transfers and updates

Norwegian architectural firm reveals new world-leading plans for Man United's Old Trafford - Man United News And Transfer News

Blue is the color for Manchester United today.

The club has officially unveiled the new away kit for the 2024/25 season and, as expected, it is an all blue affair.

Tagged “for the fearless”, the new alternative kit features the new Snapdragon sponsor name on the chest.

Marcus Rashford, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Alejandro Garnacho are shown on social media posts wearing the new ensemble.

There has been some criticism of the kit on social media suggesting that it is “Chelsea blue”, a specific shade of the color named after United’s London rivals (RGB code #034694).

However, as can be seen from the images below, the United kit is much darker (RGB code #30456c, based on image taken from the club’s official retailer, United Direct).

Fans may not have long to wait before they see the Red Devils don the blue kit.

United face Arsenal in their first match of the pre-season USA tour in the early hours of Sunday morning, at 1am BST.

Given there is a color clash on home kits, it seems likely that the PR men at United will use the opportunity to help the sales drive of the new outfit by offering to be the side to switch shirts.

The third kit, which includes a white shirt with red and black horizontal stripes, was inadvertently shown on MUTV this week when a fan wearing the as yet unreleased outfit was interviewed ahead of the Rangers game.

The interviewer was signaled to get the man out of shot as quickly as possible and hurriedly moved away to speak to other fans.
