“Manchester United Enter Competitive Transfer Battle for Arsenal Star Max Dowman” – Breaking News on Man United Transfers

Official: Manchester United comfirm extension of partnership wth video game partner Konami - Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have joined a number of top European clubs in the race for Arsenal sensation Max Dowman.

United only recently lured Hubert Graczyk and Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal’s youth setup.

In particular, the Red Devils raised plenty of eyebrows by successfully convincing the highly-rated Danish striker to pick their project over continuing his development in North London.

Having already given his “here we go” to Obi-Martin’s move to United in July, journalist Fabrizio Romano recently confirmed they have received Premier League approval to complete the signing of the 16-year-old.

Now, according to TBR, the Mancunians have set their sights on Dowman.

The Arsenal talent is only 14 years old but has already trained with Mikel Arteta’s first-team at London Colney.

The English attacking midfielder has featured in U18 Premier League and UEFA Youth League this season and has impressively added a goal and an assist to his name in five appearances across both competitions.

TBR claim that United want the Arsenal wonderkid but they face competition from Chelsea and Liverpool.

Further, Barcelona have already shown their interest in Dowman. They reportedly tried to add him to their famed La Masia academy during the summer of 2024.

Despite plenty of suitors circling around their academy jewel, Arsenal are believed to be confident of securing his long-term future at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta has done an impressive job of turning Arsenal into Premier League title contenders. Still, the Spaniard has received criticism for not giving the club’s academy players enough first-team opportunities.

Romano earlier suggested that the “pathway” at United was “key” for Obi-Martin, who turned down clubs from Germany for the Old Trafford project. If United are indeed interested in Dowman, it will be interesting to see how they would attempt to lure another Arsenal prodigy.
