Manchester United legend eyeing up Premier League job

Manchester United legend eyeing up Premier League job

Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed that he wants to manage in the Premier League after rejecting several offers from around Europe.

The Manchester United legend has established himself as an excellent manager after winning two trophies and securing Champions League qualification in his first season at PSV Eindhoven.

But after an incredible season, the Dutch manager decided to leave the club as he reportedly felt that he did not have the support of the club.

One year later, it seems that Van Nistelrooy is ready to take a step back into management as he has revealed that he has already received several job offers.

The 47-year-old has stated that he wants to manage in a country where he has played with England at the top of that list.

“I have had offers from various clubs, also in my own country, but I would love to work in England or in Spain.” He said via the Mirror.

“I want to coach in a league where I have played, because in those countries I speak the language fluently.”

The Manchester United legend will no doubt be watching how things develop as the season nears its end, with several managers in the league coming under serious pressure.
