Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho delivers another assist for Chelsea – Manchester United News and Transfer Updates.

Man United loanee Jadon Sancho grabs another assist for Chelsea - Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho grabbed another assist today as Chelsea powered past Brighton 4-2 courtesy of four first half goals from Cole Palmer.

Sancho is practically a Chelsea player, as the loan from United includes an obligation to buy as long as the Blues finish in the top half of the Premier League.

United spent two years tracking and chasing Sancho but his Old Trafford career came crashing to a halt after a bust-up with manager Erik ten Hag.

After brief suggestions at the start of this season that the pair had kissed and made up, it became obvious there was still a problem when the England man was left out of United’s first few games.

Chelsea snapped him up on deadline day and he seems determined to prove to the world that United had made a dreadful mistake in backing the manager over him.

Sancho already has three assists in three games for the Stamford Bridge side.

The statisticians are keen to point out that this is more assists than “Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount, Christian Eriksen, Joshua Zirkzee and Kobbie Mainoo COMBINED (2)”.

The 24 year old was rated 7.6 by sofascore.com today. In truth, outside of the assist his stats were nothing special, registering zero shots, 70% passing accuracy, zero crosses and zero long balls.

Still, he will not care too much about this when he looks at the Premier league table.

Chelsea are now seven places ahead of United in the table, although a win against Spurs tomorrow for the Red Devils will close the gap to four places (or three if Aston Villa overtake Chelsea into fourth).

Sancho’s resurgence in Chelsea Blue will not help Ten Hag’s cause, however, as he struggles to convince everyone he is still the right man to bring success back to United.
