Manchester United Place £50 Million Price Tag on Jadon Sancho – Latest News on Transfers and Updates from Old Trafford

Manchester United set £50 million asking price for Jadon Sancho - Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have set an asking price of £50 million for Jadon Sancho, as reported by journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Red Devils have had a disappointing season after a promising start under Erik ten Hag’s management in 2022/23.

Sancho was expected to play a key role in United’s progress, with hopes of a title challenge and a good Champions League run at the beginning of the season.

However, tensions rose between Sancho and Ten Hag when the player criticized the manager for his attitude in training.

Sancho responded on social media and after failing to apologize, he was loaned back to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Dortmund are interested in making the move permanent, but the price tag of around £50 million set by United poses a challenge.

According to Jacobs, Dortmund want Sancho and Ian Maatsen, but the combined cost of £85 million is seen as unfeasible.

At 24, Sancho is entering the prime of his career and with the right management, his potential could still be realized.

The outcome of this situation may hinge on whether Ten Hag remains at United next season, despite Sancho reportedly wanting to move on.

£50 million or less for Sancho could be a lose-lose situation for United, as a player is worth only what someone is willing to pay for them.
